TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ONLINE PURCHASE
By placing an order with Mikin Ltd, you are accepting these Terms & Conditions. Please read these Terms & Conditions before placing an order.
In these Terms & Conditions
“We” and “us” means Mikin Ltd.
“You” means the person placing an order.
At Mikin, we make every effort to ensure your purchase gets to you quickly, safely and in the most cost-effective way possible.
All UK Mainland purchases are sent via Royal Mail recorded. Royal Mail requires a signature for proof of delivery. If you are not available to take delivery, Royal Mail will leave a calling card with instructions on how to collect the parcel or to book a re-delivery. Please make sure the delivery address you provide is accessible, as Royal Mail will only hold parcels for 4 working days before returning them to us. Unfortunately, we cannot deliver on public holidays or weekends.
Your order will be packed and dispatched, provided:
- The item you have chosen is in stock
- The delivery address has been verified
- Payment has been approved
We will send you an initial email confirming receipt of your order and then a further email confirming dispatch of your order along with your order reference number. Orders can be delivered to either a business or residential address.
International delivery – We are able to deliver to most countries in the world. Depending on your location, international delivery takes between 7-14 working days. Local customs authority may apply customs and sales tax on your purchased item(s) once they arrive in your country, which must be paid before you receive them. We will not be responsible for this cost. Please note that delays can occur which are beyond our control.
All international deliveries will be posted through Royal Mail. Once they arrive at your country, your purchased item(s) will be passed onto your country’s national postal service for delivery to you.

CANCELLATION AND RETURNS POLICY
We constantly strive to ensure that the products we bring to your door are the highest quality. However, if for any reason, you are not entirely satisfied with our product, please notify us within 14 days of receiving your goods. We are happy to exchange or refund item(s) that are sent back to us within 14 days. All we ask is that you return the item(s) in a saleable condition, unworn, unmarked and with the original packaging and labelling intact. A refund or exchange will not be issued for item(s) which fail to meet these requirements.
Please note, we cannot refund shipping and or delivery charges whether they are within the UK or abroad. We ask that International customers be aware that all duties and sales taxes cannot be refunded.
If you wish to cancel your order you can notify us by email to email@example.com before we have dispatched the item(s) to you. Upon receipt of your order cancellation request, we will give you a full refund of the amount you paid for the items.
If you change your mind about your purchase, please return the item(s) to us with the original proof of purchase within 28 days and we will offer you an exchange or refund. This will not affect your legal rights, including your right to claim a refund, replacement, repair and/or compensation where the item(s) are faulty or not as described.
If you would like a refund, we require that you return the item(s) to us in the condition specified above within 28 days of receiving it. We will not accept returns for any non-faulty item(s) that have been worn, washed and/or with the tags or labels removed.
If any item is received without tags, please notify us (by phone or email) on the same day if you wish to return it. We strongly advise all customers to check garments thoroughly upon receipt before removing any attached tags.
In the event of an exchange, items are subject to product availability. We can only exchange an item for a different size, style and colour subject to our stock availability. All exchange enquiries should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. Exchanged items can only be dispatched after the returned goods have been received and checked by us.
All exchanges are subject to a return delivery charge of £4.99 (within the UK).
HOW TO PROCEED WITH YOUR RETURN OR EXCHANGE
We are happy to exchange items or refund if you are not satisfied with your order as explained above. The following process should be followed:
- Fill in the returns/exchange form as necessary. Your order number, name and address are important so please include these.
- Post the item together with the returns/exchange form and original proof of purchase to Mikin Ltd., 3 Rodney Road, New Malden, Surrey, KT3 5AB. All items must be returned via recorded delivery. We will not be responsible for items delayed or lost in transit.
- Returned items must be in the condition specified above, otherwise, we reserve the right to refuse the return/exchange.
- If your item is faulty, we will refund your postage costs.
- We will not cover the cost of return delivery.
RECEIVING A REFUND
Once your item has been returned to us in accordance with the above requirements and process, we will begin to process your refund request. Each item will undergo a quality control check and once verified to be in the required condition, your refund will be processed. All undamaged, correctly returned items will be credited to your credit/debit card (including VAT for all EU country customers but excluding any delivery costs you incur). You will be notified via email once we have successfully processed your refund. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from us.
Please note: If we feel that your returned item is not fit for exchange or refund because it is not in the condition we require it to be or it was not returned within the specified time frame (see above), we will get in touch with you to discuss your options.
If someone has sent you a gift from Mikin but it isn’t quite right for you, then you can return it in exchange for another product. In the event of a gift return, we require that you return the new and unused item to us with all the original labelling attached within 28 days of receiving the goods. Please simply follow the procedures for exchanges as set out above. Please be aware that you will be required to pay any difference in cost (for exchanges) and any additional delivery charges.
CHANGES TO TERMS & CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to change these Terms & Conditions for buying products online from time to time. If this happens, we will notify you by posting the new Terms & Conditions for buying products online on our website. If you do not wish to be governed by the revised Terms & Conditions for buying our products online, you must not place any further orders.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and you and we agree to use the English courts should any dispute arise.
If any part of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid by law, the rest of them will remain valid and enforceable.
The provisions of these Terms & Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
